Backing up your files is probably one of the most important parts of owning a computer device.
We backup for various reasons, but the main ones are to be able to recover lost/deleted files, damaged files or from a disaster (fire, theft or hardware failure).
It is important to realise that moving your files to an external drive is NOT backing up your files. A backup means you have more than one copy of your files.
